Carla and Porter said I do under a beautiful custom-built altar with the Chicago skyline in the background. The historic Theater on the Lake was the perfect venue for these two love birds and we loved working alongside the entire creative team on this special day!
We had the pleasure of creating custom-built furnishings, decor, lighting, and florals for Carla and Porter which helped ensure a common look and theme that would carry over from the ceremony to the reception. The altar was simple yet distinguished with breathtaking views of Lake Michigan and the iconic Chicago skyline as the two sealed their forever love with a kiss in front of friends and family.
The reception space set the mood for the evening with the perfect mixture of industrial details combined with elegant decor. Guests were seated throughout the room at dark wood tables paired with metal cafe chairs. Modern lanterns and Edison bulbs were hung over each tabletop, illuminating all the details of the elegant tablescape. Lush white floral centerpieces and the glow of candlelight danced around the room and completed the look Carla and Porter were hoping for.
The evening was full of dancing and laughter in honor of the couple. As husband and wife, the newlyweds cut their cake and tasted its sweetness together! Toasts were given throughout the night with applause and cheers for the newly pronounced Mr and Mrs.
